We've created a cozy, surf-shack atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy an authentic taste of the islands.
Our mission is to serve delicious, high-quality Japanese food with a Hawaiian flair at prices that everyone can enjoy.
Our menu features ultra-fresh, locally sourced tuna, freshly caught by local fishermen, and uses local avocado from the farms around town in both classic and creative rolls, from the beloved California Roll to our signature Red Hot Lava roll.

Meet Yoshi Sanada!
Originally from Tokyo, Yoshi settled in Kailua-Kona after traveling the world and falling in love with the beaches on the Big Island.
He is the owner and chef of Sushi Cocoro in downtown Kona.
But in his free time, you can catch Yoshi sippin’ sake, slicing sashimi, and making some waves as one of the island's top longboarders.
